The fascination of the triathlon world: Highlights of the seasonTriathlon events fascinate not only athletes, but also numerous spectators worldwide. The participants prepare for this crucial moment for months to prove their skills in the most important races of the year. We take a look at the five most important triathlon events.

Challenge Roth – The triathlon highlight in the heart of Bavaria

Every year between the end of June and the beginning of July, Roth turns into the epicenter of triathlon. The Challenge Roth is not only known for its spectacular route, but also for the impressive backdrop in front of up to 300,000 enthusiastic spectators. The starting places for this event are sought after and often sell out within seconds. An unforgettable experience for athletes and fans alike.

Allgäu Triathlon – tradition meets athleticism

Since 1983, the Allgäu Triathlon has thrilled athletes and spectators alike. This traditional event is one of the oldest triathlons in Germany and enjoys cult status. In addition to the middle distance, athletes can also complete sprint and Olympic distances in August. The track has already attracted the likes of Sebastian Kienle, Faris Al Sultan and Thomas Hellriegel, and its cult status continues to grow.

Ironman Frankfurt – Europe’s long distance championship

Every year Frankfurt is the focus of the triathlon world when the Ironman European Championship is held again. This legendary long-distance event attracts athletes from all over Europe. The starting places are sought after and often sold out in a flash. But as a spectator you can also join in the excitement in Frankfurt and experience the impressive achievements of the athletes up close.

Ironman World Championships Nice/Hawaii – The ultimate highlight

Nice and Hawaii will remain the venues for the Ironman World Championships for men and women in the next few years. Since 2023, women and men have started separately on different days. In 2023 the women started in Hawaii and the men in Nice. This will now change every year. The Ironman World Championships are undoubtedly the highlight of the triathlon season. This is where the best athletes in the world come together to compete in an epic competition. These events are not only physically demanding, but also emotional milestones for everyone who takes part in the sport of triathlon.

Hamburg Wasser World Triathlon – A triathlon in the middle of the Hanseatic city

The World Triathlon Hamburg is a legend, not just because of the breathtaking route along the Alster and historical landmarks. With over 10,000 participants and 250,000 spectators, this event is one of the largest triathlon events in the world. In July, triathlon enthusiasts get their money's worth in Hamburg, be it on the sprint or Olympic distance.
