We are currently in a time of physical barriers and not a few of us find it difficult to maintain our social contacts. It is all the nicer that nowadays we have the freedom and the opportunity to connect with people who share our interests and our passion. With the aim of bringing passionate athletes together digitally, we have teamed up with Zwift.
The cooperation was heralded in February with the Days of Dedication. The first Time Trial World Series ever hosted on Zwift brought together cyclists and triathletes from around the world, giving us the opportunity to experience the unifying power of sport over four consecutive races.
Days of Dedication
The four races took place every Thursday in February. A special feature: for the first time, each race could be run in four different time zones during prime time. A social ride took place beforehand to warm up. These warm-up rides were led by Ryzon Ambassadors Jan Frodeno, Imogen Simmonds, Nick Kastelein and Ruben Zepuntke. The Ambassadors gave last helpful tips for the race and were available for all questions. After the warm-up, the participants could test their time trial skills in the increasingly difficult stage races. As it was a time trial series, slipstreaming was not allowed.
Completing any of the four events will automatically unlock the Ryzon X Zwift Days of Dedication Kit on Zwift. This kit was chosen by the community in a vote at the end of 2020 and was also made as a limited edition true analogue bike set after the end of the Days of Dedication. The Ryzon X Zwift Bike Set Contour , refined with the contour lines of Watopia, is available here in the Ryzon webshop.
